Booking Conditions
‘The owner’ means the owner of Trerice Holiday Barns (‘the property’)
‘The client’ means the person(s) making the booking and the members of his/her party
Bookings will only be accepted on receipt by the Owner of a completed booking form and deposit of 1/3 of the cost of accommodation; bookings made within 8 weeks of the occupation period must be paid in full at the time of the booking
Subject to the above the balance is payable 8 weeks before the occupation start date. If the balance is not received by such date the Owner will be entitled to cancel the booking without further notice to the client and without incurring any liability to the client whatsoever. In such circumstances the client shall be deemed to have cancelled and the following provisions will apply
In the event that the client cancels the booking the total payable in respect of the booking will remain due to the owner. In the event that the owner is able to re-let the property for the same period (or longer) the owner will make the appropriate allowance (on a pro rata basis) to the client
All bookings are accepted in good faith. In the unlikely event that the owner has to cancel the booking due to factors beyond her control the owner’s liability shall be limited to the immediate return in full of all monies paid by the client in respect of the booking. The owner recommends the client to take out appropriate holiday cancellation insurance
The client is liable for the total cost of any damage loss or injury to the property or its inventory
The property will be available to the client and other members of the party and shall be used solely for the purpose of holiday accommodation within the meaning of Section 9 of the Rent Act 1977 (as amended). The total number of occupants shall not exceed the number stated on the booking form. Bookings commence at 4pm and conclude at 10am for the period shown on the booking form
The client undertakes for him/herself and on behalf of all other members of the party to keep the property, furniture, fittings and effects in or at the property in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the occupation period and to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition on leaving the property
In the event that any items are lost or damaged during the clients occupancy the client will be responsible for the cost of replacing the same or making good such damage before the end of the occupancy
The owner reserves the right to enter the property at reasonable times with or without workmen for the purpose of inspecting, cleaning repairing or maintaining the property or any equipment within the property
The client shall not cause or allow any nuisance or annoyance to the owner or an occupier of any other barn
None of the contents in the property, particularly towels provided by the owner, shall be removed from the property
The contract between the owner and client shall be governed by English law and be subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts
Temporary Covid Terms and Conditions
In the event that Government Covid travel restrictions prevent either the owner opening the accommodation, or the client travelling to the accommodation, all monies paid will be transferred to another date (subject to availability) or a full refund (including deposit) will be issued to the client.
In the event that the client, or any member of their party, tests positive for Covid that prevents them taking their holiday, all monies paid will be transferred to another date (subject to availability) or a full refund (including deposit) will be issued to the client on production of proof of a positive test in an email format.
* Please ensure that your booking form is correctly completed with ALL names of guests in your party as refunds will only be issued if the name on the positive test matches with a name on your booking form.*
The property will be available to the client and other members of the party and shall be used solely for the purpose of holiday accommodation within the meaning of Section 9 of the Rent Act 1977 (as amended). The total number of occupants shall not exceed the number stated on the booking form. Bookings commence at 5.00pm and conclude at 09.00am for the period shown on the booking form. This is an amendment to our usual times to allow for extra ventilation and cleaning of the accommodation.
